Warby Parker x Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Role: Creative direction and design.

Project Overview: To coincide with the launch of MSPM2 on PS5, I had the privilege of collaborating with partners at Warby Parker, Marvel Entertainment, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games in bringing this campaign to life.

Primarily focusing on photo production and content creation, I was also able to design and oversee aspects of marketing comms, activations and e-commerce.

This was truly a cross-functional effort across many businesses and it wouldn’t be possible without the help of Eric Monacelli, Laura Hathaway, Carli Villagonzolo, Rochelle Dick and the rest of the team at Marvel. Meah Benage, Lya Ortega and the team at Sony. As well as Tim Salvitti at Insomniac Games. Then most importantly, the Warby Parker crew with Xavier Roberts, Ben Gable, Cameron Thorne, Bo Fei, Pietro Clemente, Matthew Currie, Lori Krauss, Alison Riley, Huntley Rhoads, Ben Wagner, Kate Boyle, Emily Beaumont, Ana Rice, Marshall Tan and Lucas Wagner.

We wanted to create a world that blended both virtual and physical elements to create a universe of it’s own–a more abstract, editorial interpretation that marries sensibilities from both Warby Parker and Marvel.

I’m not going to lie, setting up a booth at New York Comic Con alongside our partners at Marvel was pretty sick.
